The Lane County Sheriff is the law enforcement agency led by the elected Sheriff of Lane County, Oregon, U.S. and provides police services to unincorporated portions of the county and contracts police services to some incorporated cities.

Since the establishment of the department, eight officers have died while in the line of duty. Six died between 1903 and 1975 from gunfire, one died from vehicular assault in 1958, and one died of a heart attack in 1979.[1][2]
